Cyprus to Start Accepting Applications for EU Blue Card

Further to our previous newsfeed on this, the Cyprus Migration Department is expected to start accepting application for the Blue Card as from 7 July 2025.

The Blue Card is intended for highly qualified non-EU nationals who are either currently residing legally in Cyprus or planning to relocate.

Eligible sectors are those of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Pharmaceuticals, and Maritime.

The minimum gross salary has been set at €43,632 per annum.

The Blue Card will be valid for a maximum of 3 years, with the option for renewal.
