Further to our previous newsfeed on this, on 28 November 2025 the Cyprus Tax Department announced the extension of the deadline for submission of the Corporation Tax Return (for companies) as well as of the Income Tax Return (for individuals with an obligation to prepare audited financial statements) for 2023 and 2024. The extension is as follows:
- For the Returns of 2023 until 31 March 2026
- For the Returns of 2024 until 30 November 2026
The extension applies for companies and individuals with an obligation to prepare audited financial statements whether they are obliged to prepare a Summary Information Table (SIT) or not.
For submissions after the above mentioned deadlines, a fixed penalty of €100 will apply with regards to each Corporation Tax Return/Income Tax Return and a fixed penalty of €500 will apply for each SIT.
