Further to our previous newsfeed on this, the Cyprus Tax Department announced on 30 September 2025 that the deadline for submission of the Income Tax Return for 2024 (the “Return”) is extended to 15 October 2025. Any tax and contributions due are payable also by the same extended date.
Submission of the Return after the deadline will be subject to a fixed fine of €100, plus a penalty and interest on any amounts due.
It is reminded that only individuals with gross annual income exceeding €19.500 are obliged to submit an Income Tax Return.
